Philadelphia's maker of artisan
breads and cooking products needed a marketing tool to sell their
gift baskets: A moneymaker that can be shipped anywhere in the United
States.
The resulting direct-mail piece contained an artful list of the bakery's
offerings, a blank postcard, and a poster showcasing the diverse array
of Metropolitan's artisan breads.
As a result, gift basket sales tripled in the following three months. |
