Metropolitan BakeryPhiladelphia's maker of artisan
breads and cooking products needed a marketing tool to sell their
gift baskets--a money-maker--which can be shipped anywhere in the
United States.
The resulting direct mail piece contained an artful list of the bakery's
offerings, a blank postcard, and a poster showcasing the diverse array
of Metropolitan's gourmet breads.
Gift basket sales tripled in the three months after the mailing. |
